Family: Brian and Bev, married since 1976, have two adult children: a son Joshua and a daughter Jamie. Beverly was medically disabled from her career as a high school literature teacher in 2002, after being diagnosed with a neurodegenerative brain disease (visit the Manhattan Messenger for information on Multiple System Atrophy). Ministry: In 1972, Brian first ventured from Arkansas into Kansas, to help with VBS at a mission church. A decade later, he and his family moved to Kansas, and since then they have shared in the life of the Norwich church (83-84), the Walnut and Campbell congregation in Hutchinson (85-94), and the Manhattan church and Cats for Christ campus ministry (94-present). Editor of the Kansas Directory of Churches of Christ, a publication he started in 1988, Brian is also a member of the Campus CrossWalk board, serving as CCW treasurer and designer of Campus CrossWalk magazine and the Directory of Church of Christ Campus Ministries.
